Liverpool Hope University and the Université Catholique de Lille offer a joint scholarship to pursue a PhD in early modern women’s literature under the direction of Dr. Lisa Walters. The scholarship will cover three years of full tuition fees.

The title of the project is "Early Modern Women and Intellectual History," which can be understood in a broad sense. For example, the student could consider women's literature in relation to history, literary traditions, philosophy, etc. The scholarship asks for candidates to hold a merit or distinction in the UK.
